Heating oil

One of the most popular ways of heating homes in Central New York is burning oil. When we switched from coal to oil, we have found out the how much more efficient and safer of a commodity oil can be. There are less concerns when it comes to carbon monoxide and you own your appliances rather than renting them like you do with most gas companies.

deliveries

We deliver to various residential, commercial, non-for profit and farms. Our trucks can hold three different compartments worth of products making more efficient and effective deliveries for our customers.

We offer automatic delivery service for our customers as well as a budget program that runs from August to July of the following year. Call our office if you are interested in these services

 

gas station

Our full service gas station is located at the four corners of Cato (where route 34 & 370 meet). Take advantage of our full service, because whether rain or shine, hot or cold, our employees are there to make sure you stay comfortable in your car while they pump and service your vehicle. Need new windshield wipes? Air tire pressure low? Need to replenished that engine oil? Stop by and our attendant will be happy to help you with whatever you need.

HEAP

We are proud to help our customers through a country program known has HEAP. Contact your local Department of Social Services to see if you qualify.

furnace/boiler & a/c SERVICING

Need a new furnace? Want a quote? We do free quotes for any oil burning appliances and a/c units. We deal with a lot of major brands such as Thermo-Pride & Buderaus products. Our service technicians have over 40 years of experience, and are there to help you and your family’s needs. Keeping you safe and warm is their top priority. Rental Property Delivery & Payment Policy

Customers who rent or lease their residence are required to prepay for all fuel deliveries.

VanNorstrand Oil Co LLC does not extend credit or open-account billing to renters, regardless of individual credit history. Payment must be received before a delivery can be scheduled or made.

How Prepaid Deliveries Work

When placing an order, please contact our office to arrange payment. The amount due will be based on the current fuel price and requested delivery amount.

If the exact number of gallons delivered differs from the prepaid amount, our office will handle any remaining balance or credit as necessary.

Please note: This policy applies to rental properties and is not a determination of an individual customer's creditworthiness.

Credit Card Prepayment for Fuel Deliveries

Due to the rising cost of fuel, VanNorstrand Oil Co. LLC will now require customers paying by credit card to prepay for their estimated delivery prior to delivery.

Your card will be charged based on the estimated number of gallons for your delivery. You will only be responsible for the actual amount of fuel delivered.

If your tank does not take the full amount that was prepaid, the remaining balance will stay on your VanNorstrand Oil account as a credit and can be applied toward your next delivery.

Example:
If you prepay for 150 gallons but your tank only takes 125 gallons, the value of the remaining 25 gallons will remain as a credit on your account.

This change helps us manage the high upfront cost of purchasing fuel while continuing to provide dependable delivery service to our customers.

We understand that changes in payment procedures can be an adjustment, and we appreciate your understanding and continued support of our family-owned local business.
